The NEC Express5800/140Rf-4 server is a 4-way enterprise server, designed to provide scalable performance and expandable capacity with proven enterprise-class reliability. These benefits together with the excellent compactness of a 4U rack form factor provide an ideal foundation for server consolidation, enterprise computing, complex transaction and virtualization.

Incorporating the latest market technology: Intel Xeon® 7300 MP Quad Core processors, RAID incorporated..., the NEC Express5800/140Rf-4 server ensures an excellent level of performance, which responds perfectly to the most demanding data-processing environments.
The 7 PCI slots, including 2 Hot Plug, redundant and hot plug components and embedded RAID carry out many functions to guarantee an excellent business continuity.
The new Server Engine Pilot 2 chipset and EXPRESSSCOPETM with LED status indicators on the chassis, help identify a defective module and allows it to be replaced easily, and a rapid system restoration to be carried out whilst the server is still in use. The NEC Express5800/140Rf-4 server comes with NEC ESMPRO™ administration software as standard which provides information of the inventory and any errors. Also, with the Remote Management card and DianaScope, remote system maintenance becomes easier.
