Munich, 13 September 2010 – The NEC MultiSync® EA222WMe 22" display is the world’s first display to have been awarded the new TCO Certified Edge Award for a halogen-free display. With this new certification program, Swedish firm TCO Development is conferring awards on user and eco-friendly ICT products that go beyond the specifications for conventional TCO certification. The key to the energy-saving, wide-format model with LED backlights award was NEC’s achievement in designing new display products free from halogen.
